Instagram sponsored post rates: how much to charge
Instagram doesn't pay creators per view; most income comes from sponsored posts with brands. The common starting point is a "rate per 1,000 followers".
The formula
rate per post = (followers ÷ 1,000) × rate per 1K followers × engagement factor
| Category | Audience country | Range | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| — | United States | 5–15 USD | Earnoscope tahmini |
| — | Türkiye | 1.5–5 USD | Earnoscope tahmini |
| — | Other countries | 3–9 USD | Earnoscope tahmini |
For a US audience we use $5–$15 per 1,000 followers (Earnoscope estimate). A 100,000-follower account with 3% engagement lands around $500–$1,500 per post.
What pushes the rate up
- High engagement (above 3%)
- A strong niche audience: finance, tech, beauty
- Bundles of Reels, Stories and feed posts
- Usage rights: brands running your content as ads should pay extra
